Philosophy

Ancient philosophy had a slightly different focal point than today, always emphasizing the sublimation of the mind. Essential to that was the clear understanding of terms, or notions, as can be seen in Plato’s dialogues for example, to assure a common discussion base and comprehension for everyone. Supported by dialectic the view from different angles was promoted to identify the most significant qualities of a specific idea – as knowledge is not revealed by the one, but by community.

On its own already a huge field of reflection, it serves again as a preperation for the highest objective of ancient philosophy – to strive for the beauty in all things. What are the archetypes behind the visible world we are able to perceive?
